Selling points

A rechargeable version of the Stylus Pro penlight, this product includes a USB recharging port, allowing users to charge by plugging into a USB port or optional AC wall adapter device. A sliding sheath protects the port.

Delivering exceptional brightness and utility for a light of its size, the Streamlight Rechargeable Stylus Pro USB is made from sturdy, machined aluminum, but is also lightweight and easy to carry.

Features and benefits

The Stylus Pro USB makes a great secondary light for close-up tasks, such as making equipment repairs or inspecting an engine. Technicians can recharge it conveniently by plugging it into a USB port on the shop floor or a wall outlet, using an optional adapter.

Rechargeable lights offer an additional benefit: savings.  While their initial cost is generally greater than lights powered by disposable batteries, the lifetime savings for rechargeables is significant because they can be recharged many times over. The Stylus Pro USB, for example, uses a Li-ion battery that can be charged 300 times. The battery recharges in the product in 2.5 hours.

Application

This is an ideal secondary light for automotive users to carry in their pocket for close-up work, such as making repairs under the hood or chassis of a car, or for reading a serial number on a piece of equipment.

Origin

With the increasing popularity of USB rechargeable products, which provide enhanced versatility and convenience for users on the go, Streamlight wanted to adapt this technology to this light.
