PTEN staffers select several stand-out tools and equipment from the aftermarket week expos AAPEX and SEMA

Simply amazing. The number of products constantly being produced, improved and updated for the automotive aftermarket is always in constant flow, but when you see so many at one time, like at the shows that make up Automotive Aftermarket Industry Week every year, it does seem overwhelming.

At the 2007 AAPEX show alone, there were more than 2,000 companies exhibiting products, including more than 100 devoted exclusively to tools and equipment. Those numbers don't even include the exhibitors and tool and equipment companies also at SEMA, CARS and NACE during the week.

Following are a selection of tools and equipment that caught the attention of Professional Tool & Equipment News and Professional Distributor staffers during the week. Enjoy.
