Christmas is finally, well, almost here. At least, Tool Guy Christmas is, otherwise known as AAPEX, where some of the best new tools of the next 12 months will debut in Las Vegas at the Sands Expo Center, Nov. 4-6.

At this year’s Industry Aftermarket Week, expect to see great new products roll out from some of the most innovative companies serving the tool and equipment needs of the repair shops.

More than 117,000 people attended in 2007. AAPEX features repair tools and equipment from more than 150 companies — that’s going to mean a lot of new tools for you to consider stocking. This show is an investment in time and money, but I highly recommend you consider attending. And if you do, stop by the PTEN booth (No. 4939) and ask for me, I’d be more than happy to talk with you about the magazine, the show, your business, the aftermarket in general, old cars or good places to eat in Vegas.

Be sure to check out the December issue of Professional Distributor for my picks of some of the best new tools at the show, as well as coverage of PTEN’s Innovation Awards presentation covering the 2008 award winners.

See you there.
