Keeping up with the new and innovative tools

July 21, 2014

In just a few weeks, I'll be at the annual Aftermarket Week in Las Vegas talking to tool manufacturers and hunting down the best new products for your shop at the AAPEX and SEMA shows.

I know you look for the best new products for your shop wherever you can, whether on the tool truck, online, in PTEN, etc. That's the great thing about AAPEX and SEMA. The newest tools will be there, and as I find cool stuff for your shop, I'll be posting them live to PTEN's Facebook and Twitter pages. So make sure you follow and are a fan of PTEN's social media pages to get new tool information as soon as it is available.

Right now, in this issue, you can review some of the most innovative products of the past year. The 2010 PTEN Innovation Award winners start on page 38. These are the most innovative new products recently introduced, as voted on by active repair techs independent of PTEN. These are tools you need to consider for your toolbox, and companies you need to recognize on the tool trucks.

Watch for our  live updates from SEMA and AAPEX Nov. 2-4.
