The flashpoint of a chemical indicates how easily it may burn. Chemicals with high flashpoints are less hazardous because they are less flammable. It’s beneficial to use compressor coolant with a high flash point to reduce hazards and keep employees safe. Ultra 4K Coolant has a high flashpoint of 478 degrees F to enhance operational safety in the shop. The Ultra Coolant Lubricant also has a high flashpoint of 520 degrees F. With proper engineering discipline, manufacturing processes and hands-on experience, original equipment manufacturer (OEM) consumables, such as lubricants, guarantee reliability and the best total cost of ownership.
