ASA Electronics announced it is adding the JHD1130WP Heavy Duty Radio to its product lineup. According to the company, this short DIN stereo was built to fit the less than 3" mounting depth that many excavators and other machines require.

“This unit, in addition to having a short DIN chassis, also features a waterproof face (IPX5), which makes it a great option for many side x sides and open station tractors,” said Fred Roetker, HD Industry Manager,  ASA Electronics.

The versatile radio is well suited for the construction industry with their excavators and even the powersports industry for side x sides. It\includes 12V DC power with a max power output of 30W x 4, an electronic AM/FM tuner and an RCA AUX input pigtail. It also has added safety features including NOAA 7-channel weather band and amber backlighted control panel buttons. The Aux-in is off the back of this product in order to keep it waterproof, so a jPortG is recommended when installing this unit.
