Made from coconut husks, this product soaks up to 20 times more than traditional absorbent clays and powders, according the the company. Wurth Absorb is approved by the EPA for use in disaster response nationwide for spill cleanup and passes California's CCR Title 22 Fathead Minnow Hazardous Waste Screen Bioassay testing standards for landfill disposal. It is OMRI (Organic Materials Review Institute), NSF (National Sanitation Foundation) certified and approved safe for use in Food Manufacturing and Organic Food Processing environments.
